and another month zooms by.
Jacki has been visiting the past week, she and I have had great times together, we have done lunch, shopped, registered at Baby's r us, watched trash tv, slasher movies and shared moments of inspiration with each other. I miss having Jacki living with us.

end of January
Hard to imagine that the first month of 2011 is almost behind us.
Personally we celebrated the birth of our 3rd grandchild, Kamryn in July and found out a 4th would be on the way in 2011. We continued our Mardi Gras celebrations in New Orleans, our week vacation in Captiva, big 50 (Dago, Mary, Terri) birthdays and not to forget the big 30 (Manny) in October in Lafayette, weekend wedding in Virginia and to end the year with a wonderful wedding in December. Along the way we also experienced the unexpected loss of two wonderful friends.
For work it's the end of 2010 and so much happened during the past 12 months and I know so much will happen during the next 12. Going back through my mind the biggest thing to affect myself was the change I elected to experience at Macy*s. I had always said that I would retire at Millenia Macy*s, but an opportunity, something I feel I am good at, presented itself to me during July and I jumped on it. I have just finished up 6 months of a multi store operations mgr and I love it, struggled some days, celebrated others and found my groove and know that this year the focus will be on the basics to be the best in this position.

i just finished catching up on blogs and i must say i get the prize for least consistency of blogging.....
love reading all about resolutions, but in my retail world the new year begins after inventory which i am currently in the middle of. then we can talk about 2011 goals.
